Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (medium coat)

Missy is the third littermate longing for her chance with a forever home. She loves being cuddled and sits quietly with you  or will run, run, run! Basically whatever YOU do, Missy wants to be right there with you.

She will be a great sister to another family dog - male or female but probably wouldn't mind being the center of your attention. She is also used to big groups being fostered on a farm with as many as 11 dogs at a time. She's been around sheep (but not as a guard), horses, mini goats and mini pigs.

Despite a shaky start - being found without a Mom caring for them (we estimated them to be about 5 weeks old when found), the kindness of a good Samaritan got them out of harms way and took them for initial vet care. They have been with the same foster family for their entire lives so they know no hurt or pain - just love, proper healthcare, good food, and treats!

Their foster family "gave" them a senior Great Pyrenees, Maggie, who loves "mothering" puppies, so she supervised the growing pups daily. Between Maggie and Missy's human fosters, she knows to "sit" and how to calmly stay back when a gate or door opens. She is crate trained, and house trained (may need a refresher at her new home). She rides well in a car and is a polite little lady overall.

It's clear that all these pretty pups need is love and care. Fortunately, BARN rescued them in time for them to overcome a sad start in life, and they are all eager to fill your heart and home with fun and happiness.
